Dear Evergreen Families,

A Note About Communication:  This week has seen an influx of email communication unlike anything I have experienced in my 20 years as an administrator.  I apologize for the delay in responding and will make sure to reply to all who have reached out to me as soon as possible.

ParentVUE Opens Today

This is a friendly reminder that ParentVUE, our new parent portal, will open at noon today(Sept. 2) for elementary school parents/guardians. When the portal opens, you will be able to access your child’s teacher assignment for the coming school year. To get to ParentVUE, you can use the button off the homepage of the pvsd.org website, download the app, or go to parentvue.pvsd.org.

You should have already received an email with instructions for activating your account. If you have not received this email, please reach out to the Help Desk at helpdesk@pvsd.org or call 610-489-8506, ext. 2061. You may also visit our website for details.

Please note that we are continuing to monitor and make adjustments to make sure our class sizes are balanced and that they fall within recommended guidelines. We will reach out directly to you if there is any change to your assignment between now and Sept. 8. Otherwise, you may assume that your child’s teacher assignment is final. Requests for class changes cannot be accommodated given the instructional format and the short time frame between now and the start of the school year. Thank you for your understanding, patience and flexibility.

Grab and Go - September 2 and 3 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Today, September 2 is set aside for grades 1-3.  Tomorrow is set aside for grades 4 and 5.  If you have students in multiple grades please choose the day that works best for you.

We ask that you place a piece of paper inside your passenger side windshield with the following information:  Student Name, Student Grade, Homeroom Teacher Name.

We will have individuals guiding you through the lot.  Cars will enter the Evergreen parking lot off of Campus Drive.  Traffic will flow in front of the main entrance for check in.  Traffic will then go to the playground lot to pick up the grab and go bags.

Please wear masks when engaging with school staff.  Please stay in your car.

Thank you to all of our families for their patience and flexibility as we work to open the 2020-2021 school year.

Sincerely,

Ryan Stanson-Marsh
