digital devices
We are pleased to offer free hotspots to families without internet access in the home as a way to support anywhere/anytime learning. Through a generous donation, we are making hotspots available to families so that all students can take advantage of the anywhere/anytime learning model.

A hotspot is a handheld device that provides wireless network connection to other devices (such as a phone, computer or Chromebook). Free hotspots will be given to families based on income and/or need, and availability of devices (limited quantities are available).

Want to learn more? Please visit our webpage for more information or call your child's school.

The district is beginning a capital campaign to improve student experiences and level the playing field called "Rally for the Valley." The intent is to raise money to offset costs for proposed athletic field improvement projects, such as the installation of synthetic turf at Thomas J. Keenan Stadium, construction of a synthetic turf multi-purpose field at the site of our current baseball field, and construction of two, multi-purpose synthetic turf fields behind the high school. To learn more about these projects and how you can support the effort, please visit our webpages for more information.

We're excited to announce the launch of the new PVSD Alumni Network: alumni.pvsd.org! This alumni portal offers PV graduates a way to stay connected to fellow classmates and the district through an online community that is tailored specifically for alumni interests. If you are a PV grad, or know someone who is, please share news about this platform and its many benefits. See below for more information.

What does the Alumni Portal allow you to do?
  • Connect and network with over 1,000 (and growing) PV alumni. Explore what your peers are up to and find alumni near you.
  • Learn about events, career opportunities, and important news from the community.
  • Reconnect with your old friends, and share what's new in your lives.
  • Learn about ways in which you can contribute to the future of the district.
How is it different from a social network?
  • This is an exclusive private community with access restricted to only our alumni.
  • Provides a safe, secure way to support one another for career connections, mentorship, professional advice etc.
  • The data is secure and no third party can access it.
